Completing this course will certify your company as a FilterPave installer. You will be eligible to buy material from FilterPave Products and mix it onsite or buy mixed material onsite from a certified mixer.
The FilterPave Certified Installer course consists of two days and takes place at the FilterPave headquarters in Columbia, MO. Training is limited to 4 companies. The cost is $2,250 and includes:
- Classroom training
- Hands on installation training
- 2 hotel rooms for 2 nights (includes hot breakfast)
- 2 dinners for 2 people
- 2 lunches for 2 people
- 2 FilterPave button down shirts
- 2 FilterPave polo shirts
- 4 FilterPave Tshirts

Registration cost is for up to 2 people. Your company may bring additional people to train at a rate of $650 each. Each additional person gets a room, meals, and a set of FilterPave shirts in addition to the training.

June 17-18
Day One
Morning
The morning of day one will be spent in a classroom. Chemists from BASF Chemical Company will explain the chemistry behind the FilterPave binder. FilterPave representatives will then introduce the FilterPave technology, the type of aggregates you can use, and how they are mixed together. You will learn how to determine the required amount of material for a project using the FilterPave calculator.
Afternoon
The afternoon of day one we will introduce the FilterPave tools and equipment. We will then pour and finish FilterPave. Contractors will also be instructed on proper techniques for cleanup.
Day Two
Morning
The morning will be spent working will small batches of FilterPave. We will mix material with hand tools and learn how to create samples. FilterPave sets up different than other paving materials and working with it in small batches is a great way to get a feel for how it cures. These techniques can also be applied to making pre-cast pavers.
Afternoon
Prepare FilterPave Glass Series for top coat and practice using the two component sprayer to apply the topcoat.

Lodging
Registration includes lodging at the Stoney Creek Inn. 2601 S Providence Rd., Columbia, MO 65203
FilterPave will provide transportation from Stoney Creek to all training sessions and dinner.
Air Transportation
The St. Louis International Airport and Kansas City International Airport have the most flight options. Both are approximately 2 hours from Columbia. If you fly into either of these airports we suggest making ground transportation arrangements with MO-X. MO-X runs daily shuttles from Columbia to both airports. They will drop you off at Stoney Creek and pick you up when you need to return to the airport.
The Columbia Regional Airport is only 15 minutes from the FilterPave office. The airport is more conveniently located but has fewer flight options. If you choose to fly into Columbia Regional simply contact the FilterPave office and we will arrange to pick you up.
What to wear?
The FilterPave binder will ruin clothes. Because we will be working with material on both days of training it is a good idea to wear clothes that you do not mind staining.
